Week 8 was a tough one. We finished 8-7 straight up to move our total on the year to 78-43. Still we have never finished negative on the year and that's a great thing. We finished 2-2 ATS to move that total to 17-10 on the year. Still up 7 units on ATS picks is definitely a good thing. If your unit is $100 you would be up $700 on the year tailing just my picks ATS. I'd say that's pretty good… Now let's look to bounce back from last week…

Jets at Colts (-10.5)

The Jets had a very surprising upset against a good Bengals team last week. Was that a fluke or is Mike White the real deal? I'm going to lean more on that being a fluke… The Colts have played well multiple weeks in a row and barely lost in OT against a good Titans team. Mike White gets the start again this week but I think that the Colts defense has enough to slow him down. Michael Carter the Jets RB had an amazing game last week and I think the Colts defense shuts him down as well. Look for the Colts to take control of this game early and win it outright.

Pick: Colts

Falcons at Saints (-6)

The Saints just lost their starting QB for the rest of the year due to an ACL injury. That's big news. The Falcons came back to earth after winning two straight and looked like the average ole Falcons again against the Panthers. I always like to go with the better defense which in this case is the Saints but I have a feeling their offense sputters out without Jameis Winston. Even though they do have a great record with backup Taysom Hill, I think the Falcons keep this game close, and the touchdown spread is a little too much. The Saints even with Winston are one of the worst offenses in the league yardage wise. I like the upset in this one and I'm taking the points with Atlanta.

Pick: Atlanta / Atlanta +6

Packers at Chiefs (-7)

This line has moved drastically this morning (11/3/21) as news broke out that Aaron Rodgers has COVID. The line was originally -1 in favor of the Chiefs and has moved a whole 6 points in their favor with the news that Rodgers will be out. This should be a tough challenge for the Packers without their star QB and the Chiefs are coming off a win in primetime against a decent Giants team. Look for the Chiefs to play this game well and do enough to take care of the Packers.

Pick: Chiefs

Cardinals at 49ers (+1)

Time for another upset? I think so. The 49ers played well against the Bears in the second half and I think that translates over to this game against the Cardinals. The 49ers know how to defend Kyler Murray well and only lost 17-10 early on in the season. There is news that Kyler Murray may not play due to an injury, and if that's the case I’m all in on the 49ers. As of right now this is a tough divisional matchup that I think could easily go either way. If I had to put my money on it I would go with the home team. If the 49ers want any shot at the playoffs they MUST win this game, so I see a little bit more on the line for the 49ers in Santa Clara. The 49ers should get it done here in a close one.

Pick: 49ers
