Week 5 is in the books and wow was it a good one for us. We went 13-3 on our straight up picks which is our best week so far this year. We are 53-26 on the year straight up and unfortunately I didn't get my favorite picks ATS out last week so we are still 11-7 there. Still room for improvement but a great week nonetheless. Now for my week 6 picks…
This should be a good Thursday night matchup between a young Jalen Hurts and the goat Tom Brady. Brady and the Bucs absolutely destroyed a weak Miami squad last week, while the Eagles came back from a 15-3 deficit to win in a close one. I liked what the Eagles showed last week against a very good defense in Carolina. The Bucs defense has some injuries and has not been very good the past few weeks, so look for Jalen Hurts to have a pretty good day passing the ball. I think Hurts keeps it close but Brady and the Bucs eventually take it.
Pick: Buccaneers
The Browns are coming off a gut wrenching loss to the Chargers and the Cardinals are coming off a divisional win against the 49ers. The Cardinals potent offense didn't show up in the way we expected it to against the 49ers, which has me thinking about how it's going to look against a good Browns defense. This should be one of the best matchups of the week but I believe that the only undefeated team (the Cardinals) get handed their first loss of the year. Cleveland wins this one in a close one due to their running game keeping Kyler Murray sidelined.

Wow what a week it has been for the Las Vegas Raiders… They just lost their head coach to a resignation after he was found sending numerous racist and homophobic emails years back. This should be a wake up call to the NFL and there surely will be more investigations going on about this topic. The Broncos lost last week against a Steelers team nobody was sure about (well… except me…). I think the Broncos get back on track here against the mess that is the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Vikings are coming off of a sketchy win against this resilient Lions squad, while the Panthers blew their lead on Sunday against the Eagles. The Vikings are finally back on the road after winning two out of three at home. The Panthers defense is one of the best in the league and they just added Stephon Gilmore to make it even better. I think this is a close one but we're going with the home team and the better defense which is the Panthers.
