What a bounce back week for us after the week 12 fiasco. We went 9-5 straight up to bring that total to 118-74-1 on the year. We also went a meager 1-1 on our picks ATS to bring us to 29-18 on the year. This week has some great games and I think it's going to be a profitable one for us. On to my week 14 NFL picks…
The Steelers pulled off a big divisional win against a struggling Ravens squad, while the Vikings handed the Lions their first win of the year. Losing to the Lions is like putting mayo on your waffles, it’s safe to say that the Vikings are going to be pissed off. The Steelers offense has been pretty atrocious all year and ranks 22nd in the league in total team offense. The Vikings on the other hand are 6th in the league in total team offense. The Steelers just simply dont put up that many yards or points every game. The Vikings defense hasn't been great as of late, but there's no way they dont come out hot in this one. This is suddenly a big game for this division race as the Football Team has rallied off four straight wins, and the Cowboys have been disappointing lately. The Cowboys are 2-2 in their last 4 and have been very up and down for a team that had super bowl aspirations coming into the year. That being said Dak Prescott’s winning percentage against divisional opponents is an amazing 78%. The Football Team has been winning games with their potent defense and they have been dangerous. They haven't given up more than 21 points in their last 4 wins which is surprising seeing as their defense was disappointing to start the year. The Football Team has forsure found their groove, but I don't know if they are good enough to beat the Cowboys just yet. This game will be close but I see the Cowboys taking it late.
Pick: Cowboys
The Ravens are on consecutive road games against divisional opponents and that is never favorable. Especially when the Ravens offense has looked as bad as it has the past few weeks. In fact it's been so bad they havent scored 20 points in four weeks straight. That doesn't help when they are going against a good defense in Cleveland. I think this is another low scoring divisional game, and the Browns should be able to contain Lamar Jackson. The Browns will run all over their defense and that's what leads them to a win.
Pick: Browns
This is once again another enormous divisional matchup this week. The Cardinals earlier this year went into So-Fi stadium and beat up on the Rams so you know there is bad blood between these two teams. In their last matchup the Cardinals ran all over the Rams which seems to be the Rams kryptonite against their divisional opponents. Kyler Murray is finally healthy which is a bad sign for the Rams as well. The Cardinals right now are the clear better team and I expect them to show that on Monday night. This is one of my picks ATS, give me the Cards -2.5.
